Three things:
1) My scary evil thesis title has been approved - already 600 words written. It's only 2pm. I am pretty sure I'll have another thousand by the end of today. Life is (moderately) good. I have time. It will be done.
2) I miss Bum. I mean, honestly. It's just unfair that she's not here. Just thought I'd let the world know.
3) The best piece of H/W slash has been found.
taintedrocky, you wanted to know, right? Well, I followed a link helpfully provided by Canis (to give credit, so to speak), and the first story that's listed - which, also, interestingly enough appears to be the spawn of H/W slash - is absolutely brilliant. Perfectly written, real, humorous and poignant. All the best things. Go to this page, and find "Irene Adler". Her first story - "Absurdly Simple" - is what you are looking for. Trust me.
And now back to the grind. To quote Mr. "Soon-To-Be-Wet-In-The-Lake" Darcy, I shall conquer this!
(Sadly, I don't get to jump into a lake near Pemberley. Damn.)

*does the You Can Do It dance*
And Canis rec'd Irene Adler to me, too, and her stories do indeed ROCK.

*MWAAAAAAAAAAH*
Right, the plan wasn't implemented, and am off. But ha, it'll get done ANYWAY. Because I already have 1200 words! Ha!)
Darcy-like goodness

Arse. I now have to go and watch this again. Thank God I have the DVD! Mmmmmm....Mr Darcy...
Re: Darcy-like goodness
Oh, why thank you! *g*
Hey, at least you can do that. I have to wait till I'm HOME to do it. Like, home home. As in AMERICA.
There, feel better now? ;)
