I AM TRYING TO WRITE

WHY IS WRITING SO HARD. GERARD'S BEEN ON HIS KNEES FOR A WHILE NOW. BOYS, LET'S SPEED THIS SHIT UP.

So, I'm stalking the shit out of

no_tags right now, even though the comments are screened. I'm just staring at the sign-up post like it will reveal to me everybody's prompts despite that being impossible.

no_tags? Have you already signed up? Why won't you tell me what you asked for? Are you going to sign up, but having trouble with prompts? IDK. I just want to talk about it. ARE YOU EXCITED??

(I have this secret fear that I will implode and die, and not actually write anything. Or anything good. IDK. I'm TOO EXCITED.)

signing up, but haven't yet on account of having NO IDEA what i want.

Ugh, it's HARD! I want SO MANY THINGS, but most of them revolve around Frank Iero. IT'S VERY HARD TO FIND A PAIRING I CARE ABOUT WITHOUT HIM. I managed. But only just. :(

Ugh this is so where I am at right now. I HAVE NEEDS, BUT I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT THEY ARE. Also I can't request multiple Mikeyway pairings which is making my life EXTREMELY DIFFICULT.

So, like, I want to sign up? I LOVE the idea that it pretty much HAS to be a ficlet, a week to write?!?! I love that. But. I am rly not so good with other bands. I mean, maybe I've read some Pete/Patrick and Pete/Mikey? And maybe I've read multi band fics that have random panic boys in the background? But I don't think I'd write anything about them...basically what I am saying is that I only will be able to write about My Chem, and even that...I don't rly want to write certain people...and I am worried that I will have to chose a random pairing that is fabulous for someone else to write but me? Not so much. I don't do het, unless...it's really INTERESTING* het, and I don't do GSF, and I don't do gender swap or always a girl so and so...

I am pretty much only Frank/Gerard, or Gerard/Mikey, or Pete/Mikey, or Pete/Patrick (not that I know enough to actually WRITE Pete or Patrick). So I am kind of an OTP canon person? I guess? And what if I can't write what is available??? Because of people's interesting and diverse rare pair prompts???

DO IT. I found there were a lot of MCR prompts last year, and there's always lots of Pete/Mikey and Frank/Gerard because they're popular! (And there's always waycest because I will never let the torch I carry burn out, LOL)

Just get to the prompt-claiming post on time (UGH UGH THAT IS 5AM FOR US PST-ERS) so they don't get grabbed up!

It's HARD, right? also, also, my problem isn't so much prompts, as PAIRINGS. It's hard having ONE PERSON be the crux of all your pairing wishes. >___>

I am kind of lame and have been coming up with and narrowing down a list of prompts all week IN ANTICIPATION. I just... last year I made a totally stupid Frank!mustache prompt and got SPECTACULAR fic in response, so I feel good! I sent my prompts in this morning :D

Here are the prompts that I didn't end up sending in... someone else should request them!!!

- Spencer/Brendon/Pete, shooting the Cooperstown video (dragging Pete's limp body around all day, mmmm)
- Frank/anyone, taking photos while recording (like the ones they sold as prints)
- Frank/Mikey, roommates
- Gerard/Mikey/Frank, on school property

I'm so nervous about WRITING, LIZ DDDD: The day we claim prompts is literally my first day back to work, plus I am going on a family trip that weekend to my hippie cabin with no electricity, PLUS I HAVE FORGOTTEN HOW TO WRITE. WHINGE WHINGE WHINGE I am sure I'll make SOMETHING happen, I'm just nervous!

(my faaaavourite part is reading and guessing people's stories! I can't WAIT :D)

I am SO EXCITED! :D :D Even though it means I'm going to have to figure out how to write on a cruise ship when there's live music tempting me 24/7. My life, so hard. LOL

I too am SO CURIOUS to see all the prompts! I can write a ton of different bands/pairings, so I'm not really worried about finding something I can write, but I would, of course, prefer the ones I'm more in love with!

After a full day of waffling, I've decided not to sign up. I can't even think of a prompt for the pairing I would actually want, nevermind something not them that I would enjoy receiving just as much. Plus, I have no idea if I could actually complete a fic from my end, so I will sit it out once more. Can't wait to read what other people write though, and hey, I guess that means my beta services can be used since I'm not participating!

Hello! Oh, man, I think we're ALLLLLL freaking out. Last year was SO much fun, I'm all scared this year will somehow BE LESS FUN. IDK. But GOOD LUCK!!! :D

OMG I HAVE BEEN STARING AT NO_TAGS TOO. I went the extra mile of going back to the LAST prompts post to like, see what people requested last time and freak out and try to make that jog my prompting mind.

But hey, it's done. It was HARD to decide on prompts, OMG like CHOOSING BETWEEN MY CHILDREN. Even after narrowing it to pairings I was STILL flailing, but dammit, I put something down! I actually don't think my prompts are even all that obviously ME either, since I refrained from making my prompt simply "PORN, DAMMIT", but it was a close thing.

I AM SO NERVOUS ABOUT WRITING. I am pretty sure I've lost my ability to write short fic. Or finish things. But I WILL this time. I MUST.

Is it really possible for Gerard to be on his knees for too long? I don't think so.

This post kind of sums up my reaction to no_tags.

Excitement! Panic! Worry! And then full circle back to excitement!

I totally ended up prompting, like, the exact opposite of what I thought I was gonna prompt. idek.
