On a totally different topic, here's something fun:

Six clips from the third season of Due South. They're very short, but they're really kind of classic. So, if any of you are curious (and, Vonnie, I am looking at YOU, while I try to work out the rest of this ;)), take a look! They're fun. Some are kind of priceless.

Sam, this morning on the phone: "It occurs to me that there must be quite a bit of slash fanfiction about Ray and Fraser."

EUREKA!

Linear, that's the word I couldn't think of... thanks :)

And yes. I would love to :)

That picture. I. Um. I just. I CANNOT stop looking at it. It's just so fucking expressive...

He is so fucking expressive. He's always in motion, I love that. I was trying to explain this to Vonnie a little while back: when he's on screen, you can't stop watching him, because every moment is different, every moment he changes, and he's so beautiful. And then you pause, or cap, and part of that just goes out, like a light: you have to WATCH him in order to really get it. He IS motion and beauty.

Yes to that entire thought.

Just yes. So much yes.

Have I recently mentioned my love of images BTW? Just as a whole? I love them. I love watching things. I love seeing things that are completely indescribable with words, I love colors and shapes and contrast and motion and everything about the visual world.

Except for the 70's because that's enough to blind someone.

I'm smiling right now. I'm so glad you have that. That...thing, you're passionate about. I don't think I ever allowed myself to get so blissed out on images, I always thought that words were somehow more valuable (intellectual upbringing, 'read more books' that type of thing - nothing that actually means anything, if you know what I mean, just your regular prejudices), but sometimes, there ARE no words, and I totally understand what you mean. Sometimes you just LOOK and lose it, because something is so breathtaking, you can't do anything but take it in, whatever it is. I love that.

And as for the 70's...well, what can I say. Ow.

I really, really, really love you. Like, right now.

And I love words in a completely different way (actually, it's not that different, but that's a WHOLE other discussion), but I just. I *think* in pictures. I don't know how to explain that properly. When I think of words- something someone said, a sentence I read, etc- I *see* the words. As images. Like the way it might look if it was typed. Actually, most people have their own font, in my head. Okay, that's really fucking dorky, I know. But but but. Colors, lines, curves, little details and everything.

In the right mindframe, the world through my eyes is a very pretty place.

See why I want to make movies?

And I you, Anna. And I you. :)

I think I know what you mean. I usually think in words, and that strikes others as unusual. I think in complete sentences, I can't help it, but I know what you mean about the visual. My words are visual, too. I don't know. Maybe it isn't unusual, maybe it is, but I know exactly what you mean. Most of my letters and numbers have personalities and colors. Sometimes even sounds. It's awesome.

This is why you need to make movies and share with the world. :)

I thought it was SO WEIRD when I figured out that not everyone does this. I know you and I do the 'objects have personalities' thing, and I just. It seriously never occured to me that other people don't do this.

I think my very first response to that was 'how lonely'.

This is why you need to make movies and share with the world.

*crosses everything she can*

Just, you know, popping in to say I LOVE YOU.
