Hey, speaking of infectious and powerful, I spent all day at work yesterday reading the Ioaw Farm AU. DUDE. And it turns into KID!FIC! And you know I can't say no to kid!fic unless it's in the HP universe, in which case no no no. Thank you! I should leave her detailed feedback. But right now, my head is BUZZING. !!!!

(and incidentally, it's the Iowa fic that got me into downloading all those episodes *g* I was chatting with Cate one day, somehow we got into the SGA topic - knowing me, it's all too likely I said something like "I've seen you've written new stories... but I don't know anything about the show, I can't follow you there :(" Then she said that Iowa was an AU. About five seconds later I already had the story saved. :D )

You should totally. Totally. Watch it. It's just so FUN, you know? And Joe Flanigan is hot. *cough* Like, really hot. And David Hewlett is ADORABLE. It's funny, because I'd seen a few episodes here and there, but didn't understand the appeal (not having seen any of S1, say), until I...was bored at work? And came across an AU? And read it? And then...what happened to you, basically. Funny, no? *g* And then I was downloading the biggest torrent EVER with both seasons, and then a torrent with the so-far-aired half of S3, and just. Just. It's SO MUCH FUN! I can't wait till you watch it. I so want to talk to you about it. :D :D :D

Well, somebody gave me a CD of Bill Hicks this week. It was a recording of a show from back in 1992, in England. And it opens like so:
