Guys, I think I might be going crazy. Seriously. I'm in such a weird, half-happy, half-about-to-cry mood, and it's not hormonal, apparently - it's just ME. I'm going insane.

And I don't have much to do at work.

Which means I have plenty of time to go even crazier.

So, this is my plea. Distract me? Comment fic, or picspam, or just, like, say hi (which I totally just typed as 'ho', take that as you will), or whatEVER. This is an unlocked, no-holds-barred type of thing.

I'm jittery and unnerved and I can't even call aneli8 because she's on a plane to Mexico.

Ahhhhh, this is not good! And it's not even Friday.

HELP. PLEASE.

Yeah, I first saw him in "Sense & Sensibility" when it came out in theatres, and it was kind of love at 13-year-old first sight. (Funnily enough, he played a sarcastic bastard then, too!) I want to make it short-short-short, eventually, only it's never been that short, and survey is not yet as to whether or not it will make me look like (more of) a freak.

and I wouldn't worry, because frankly? i'm female, bisexual, and studying linguistics; I'm not going to impress the extended family anyway, and the rest of them will like me no matter what. BUT, at the same time, Large Family Gatherings mean an abundance of cameras, and I'm not sure I want to face that with accidental hair. Then again, I'm not there yet! I tend to plop down in the chair and say "do something more different with, please?", so it's entirely possible that I'll have very short hair.

And - I mean, OK, I eventually want female-rodney to sex up her john sheppard, because...well, because I am a big schmoopy spazzhat. But at the same time, she keeps wanting to have sex with male-rodney (it's kind of a quantum mirror thing, okay? OKAY), and then I was talking with riverlight, who pointed out that you know who female-Rodney should really have sex with? Teyla.

...so, um, yes. I am wrong inside? But this, I suspect, is no revelation.

yeah, I hear you on the family thing. I am never really going to win any prizes there, but I know they love me. They may not GET me a lot of the time, but they love me and that's enough now. It wasn't before, when I was an angsting teenager, but now, I've kind of learned to live with it. And it's okay! Or will be, once I move the fuck out. ANYWAY.

HA! *g* Okay, without giving away major plot points (which you probably already know, anyway), I will just say: worried looks all around, because - Zelenka! Everybody loves Zelenka, Rodney most of all! "Radek!" he says in a panic, pushing his way past the throng of people. "Rodney! The man is dying!" Carson panics, but Rodney knows this, because he is special at the moment, so all the does is push Carson out of the way and get to the part where he saves Zelenka's life, because he's Zelenka! Everybody loves Zelenka, Rodney most of all. He concentrates and puts his hands over Zelenka's exposed chest (fuzzy, cute) and the awful burn over his left peck. Slowly, we see it healing up like nothing ever happened, while everybody around gapes with their jaws on the floor. Once he's done, Rodney doesn't look smug or even particularly happy. He looks around somewhat uncertainly, doesn't catch anybody's eye, and leaves the room quickly, looking broken and unhappy and entirely not himself. Radek doesn't even get a chance to thank him as his back disappears out of the doorway.
