On a totally different topic, here's something fun:

Six clips from the third season of Due South. They're very short, but they're really kind of classic. So, if any of you are curious (and, Vonnie, I am looking at YOU, while I try to work out the rest of this ;)), take a look! They're fun. Some are kind of priceless.

Heh. My sister asked me that too. She doesn't read slash, but I'm slowly getting her to appreciate homoeroticism in general. It's very easy to do it in due South because they're both so hot and adorkable, and the tension and affection is so sweet and well-written.

Once, though, she was reading this HP fanfic and I was looking over her shoulder and mocking it a little. It was a double POV Ron/Hermione thing with each one fantasizing about the other, or so she thought - but I made the correct call about halfway in (it was really painful - the writing, I mean. The things I do...) that Hermione was thinking about Ron, but Ron was thinking about Harry. :D

Oh, yeah. Not to mention thousands of missed opportunities for hot hot subtext. Though of course in that case at least 50% of it was being able to spot a fanfic cliche a mile away due to extensive reading of fanfic research.

Also, I'm watching season 1 of dS, and Ray Vecchio cracks me up. <3 I love everyone on that show.
