Once again, I have proven to myself that I cannot take Ray/Ray. It was obvious from the start, but I thought I'd test my own limits again. They do not stretch that far. Even with fics by writers I love and admire, I cannot do it. It feels wrong. All of me is protesting with "but... but... FRASER! Ray and Fraser! OTP!! Mommy!!" Also, the ending of "Call of the Wild." I am a canon whore, and RayV ends up straight and in Florida. And Kowalski gets bent on Fraser. Tralalalalalalalalalalala....

I am in that camp. No matter WHAT, it will break my heart. RayK/Fraser are the OTP, and whatever comes between that... *whimper* I opened the link. I might actually read it. Maybe. I will give it a shot. >.<

and sure, F/K TOTALLY end up in Canada, but Ray Vecchio coming back from a whole fucked-up not-his-real-life in Vegas and falling in love IMMEDIATELY with the ex-wife of his ex-partner's new partner and moving to FLORIDA and opening a BOWLING ALLEY and HOW IS THAT NOT A RECIPE FOR DISASTER???

Oh, I know. BUT IT IS OK WITH ME. *g* Because I love RayV, I do, but I love my RayK/Fraser love more. *sigh* There is so much room for fucked-upness, and things not working out, and I get that? But it just...feels wrong, you know? And hell, fanfic is for fantasy, right? So I like to think that things do work out, for all of them. ...In a way that I like. Is that selfish? Yes. But do I care?... Hmmm....

YES. I can't stand to have my Mountie be alone. :| But you know, I tried to read some Fraser/Billy (of Hard Core Logo) a few people recced to me...and I just couldn't. Especially in the one, because Fraser forgot about Ray at the end and I was just heartbroken.

Also, I just looked through your icons, and I might end up staring at that page...for a while...mmmm... moving Rays...
