(whoa, look, due South talk! See? SEE?)

So, I was tagged for [livejournal.com profile] stop_drop_porn, right? And I'm looking through the kink list, and - okay, so I already vaguely knew what I was going to write, but it never hurts to see what else is out there, right? And I came up to the "unexpectedly good in bed/sex god" kink and realized: I'm expecting both of them to be really good in bed. There is not, like, a single doubt in my mind. Fraser, because he's Fraser and has a prehensile tongue and is all...well, he's Fraser, right? That makes sense to me. And Ray because he's Ray, and he's passionate, and a great dancer, and hi, that scene from "Strange Bedfellows"? Exactly. (Also, hands. Hands hands hands.)

So, apparently, I really do honestly believe they're both really good in bed. I don't know why this amuses me. But it does. Projection? Wishful thinking?

I'm off to write porn now. Feel free to discuss this amongst yourselves. Because where's the bad in that?

ETA: Oh, and yes! Speaking of porn and all that, would anybody be willing to do a quick and dirty beta on this? It'll have to be quick, 'cause it's [livejournal.com profile] stop_drop_porn, and I am hoping I'll be done in about two-three hours. Anyone? Bueller? There may be, well, porn in your future. And a smile! Maybe even a cookie.

And for reasons that don't need exploring at this juncture, your name may not rhyme with [livejournal.com profile] fruitlinegirl. *cough*

Done, thank you! ♥

I don't know about the whole good-in-bed question. Because yes, definitely, after a while together they'd both be phenomenal (because of the aformentioned tongue/hand/focus points, and the intimacy, and the familiarity with each other's bodies and likes and dislikes and turn-ons). But right off the bat? Especially in those stories where they've only ever been with women? I'm not sure if it's more realistic to say that the sex wouldn't be that great, but I think it's certainly believable to imagine their first time as awkward, weird, and maybe a little desperate and unsatisfying. And I kinda have a kink for that, because then you get to see how things change and get better. I really liked what Kat did in "End of the Road" - she acknowledged that, yep, sex was sometimes phenomenal, but sometimes Fraser had a hard time getting outside his own head, and Ray got easily frustrated and discouraged, and a lot of the time the sex just fizzled. The story is, yeah, a downer, but that element of realism in their sexual relationship made it even more compelling, at least for me.

But then...*sigh* I'm the one writing a 45+ page rentboy!Fraser story and there is still no sex. So perhaps I need to work on imagining Fraser as a much more sexual and erotic character. It'll be tough, but I'll work at it.

Oh, no, I totally know I'm being unrealistic. Then again, it's due South and realism isn't exactly its forte. *g* For me, it's basically, that separate of each other, they're just good in bed. If that makes sense. It doesn't have to be phenomenal all that time - that is extremely rare, in fact. But, just...I see them as enthusiasic and all that. So, just...a preference.

45+ pages of Rentboy!Fraser and there is no sex? See, that takes SKILL. And a stronger woman than I. *g* Good luck!
