...New Year's.
Dec. 31st, 2004 08:30 amSo, it's December 31, or so they tell me. It's the end of an...interesting year. A lot has happened this year - a lot of good, and a lot of bad. I was going to write an entire post on the people who helped make this a better year than it would otherwise have been, and couldn't. Either because I wouldn't want to do an exclusive type of post, or because it's too many to mention. I don't know. In any case, I hope that the people that I wanted to write about know that I love them very much, and value them tremendously. My cards will be very late this year, but they will come, and then you will know. I know only so many addresses, but there's always e-cards, right?
In any case, I wanted to do something, so here is this:
I'm going to make this a public entry, so that anybody who wants to, may comment. Write anonymously or as your own lovely self, but tell me: who has made your life better this year? It can be a person on LJ, in any part of the internet, a real-life person or people - or all three! So, go wild, and post! Let's feel the love. If you'd like, you can also do the same on your LJ.
And there's a small person standing on a chair across from me, playing with something and making funny noises, sporting uneven new bangs, about to be given breakfast by her adoring grandma. She is just one of many to make this an absolutely fantastic year. She is precious to me. :) And Katie can confirm this.
I don't usually do things like this, but New Year's has always been my favorite holiday. So, go and post!
