So, I'm starving, and all my morning work is done, and I decide that it's as good time as any to go grab breakfast. And I go to the cafeteria, pick up my whole wheat bagel, and move over to the toaster area. The toasters we have are those big, rotating-grill-type toaster ovens, because - hey, a lot of people work here. And when I get there, a crowd has gathered around the toasters. So, I wait until I can grab a knife and cut mine open, and I look around, and these two women, taking up way too much of the little space we have, are trying to work the toaster.
Like, okay. The toaster? Is on. All you do is drop the bagels onto the rotating thing, and it will toast for you. And they're standing there, giggling like 12 year olds in front of a crush, going, "I don't know, do I just- do I just put it here? *giggle giggle*" and "Do I place it up? I don't know, maybe I do..."
Because, you know, it is a matter of LIFE AND DEATH which way the goddamn bagel is facing when it gets toasted.
Oh my God, PUT THE BAGEL IN THE TOASTER AND MOVE.
It took them five more minutes to figure it out, by which point I was already getting my coffee while the bagel was being toasted. God, some people are dumb.

I hope you continue to be just as wonderful and funny and brilliant and all-around-awesome, and want you to know that even if you don't (haha), I will still love the crap out of you. You're wonderful, baby, and I hope you know how much love there is out there for you, today and always. Look around! No, really! All those pink and fuzzies swirling around your head? That's all the love that's flowing your way! :D
