On Gah.

Someone please tell me that I am not the only who finds Lucius Malfoy hot as ALL HELL in the trailer! Good Lord! They could not have found anyone more perfect, yet I never ever thought that Lucius was at all sexy...gah! Noooooo! Get out of my head!

And is it just me, or are Harry's eyes green in some shots, and grey in others? Hmmmm...

And what is with that huge hug that Hermione bestows on Harry, running up to him like a saved damsel in distress?! Argh. Grrr.

But the movie looks like it's going to be amazing. And FUCK, but Alan Rickman is hot as hell in the dueling club scene. Ooooooohhhhhhh.....mmmmmmmmm....

Marie on Remus and Sirius: "Well, there's that whole dog/wolf thing, so..."

Marie on Draco: "He is a little bit obsessed with Harry, so, you know, I have high hopes for those two..."

LOL! And while I don't agree, I think it is damn funny. And she hasn't even read any slash - just heard about it.

On Sirius.

I was once again reminding myself why I love his character, because I keep coming across stuff that paints him as an immature prick that hasn't reached the level of a 14-year old mentally, and can't come up with a decent thought to save his life. That's not the Sirius I know. Not the Sirius from GoF, or even PoA, though, granted, in PoA he was a bit crazed...just a tad. Just an itty bitty bit.

I don't have GoF right now (Marie's reading it), but as soon as I get it back, I will re-read 'Padfoot Returns'. Because I love that chapter. Because I love the fact that he's hiding out and looking out after Harry despite the fact that he has to live on rats to do it. And damn the man for being sexy even while yelling 'chickeeeeeeeeen' hoarsely and chewing on it a la his alter-ego.

And the man survived twelve years among Dementors coming out relatively sane. That takes some amazing power, will or otherwise. He is fucking strong.

Most of the stuff I find this on has to do with Snape, and for the life of me, I don't understand how Snape could be considered good, while Sirius an asshole. Yes, Sirius fucked up with the Whomping Willow, but, somehow, it is quite all right that Snape was a DEATH EATER. How are those even fucking comparable? While Sirius did something utterly stupid as a 16-year old, Snape went in knowing fully what he was doing and probably assisting in more murders and tortures than we would all like to believe. Yes, he went back to the Light. For that, I commend him, and respect him, but I cannot conceive of making this decision one that absolves him. He is still a bastard, good or not.

A lot of good writers can write him in character as well as make him innately good, and I can appreciate that, but as far as canon goes... He will seriously need to do something to make me respect him. Showing Fudge his Dark Mark was a good beginning. (And, I admit, sexy as well...)

But back to the Dog-man, one of the sexiest Siriuses (Sirii?) out there can be found here. Gets me every time.
